Adiala officials deny knowledge of Sharif offer
LAHORE .: The Adiala Jail authorities have denied knowledge of any offer from the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to pay fine of prisoners, sources told The Express Tribune.
The well-placed officials in the government have disclosed that the news, which floated in the media regarding the offer made by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Sharif to Adiala Jail authorities for paying the fine of prisoners was baseless.
It was disclosed that no such offer has been made to the jail authorities from Sharif till Friday.
Senator Pervez Rashid and Senator Mushahid Hussain have denied knowledge of any such offer made by Sharif to the Jail Authorities.
