Fret not. All pertinent details are available at your fingertips courtesy an Election Commission of Pakistan service. Simply text your CNIC number to 8300 and viola. Details include: voter’s CNIC number, census block code, serial number, polling station, constituency and electoral area (city, district or tehsil).
ECP recommends July 25-27 dates for general elections
In a separate July 21 development, The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) allowed holders of expired ID cards to cast votes. The decision was taken during a top-tier meeting presided over by Chairman Usman Mobeen.
On May 23, the final electoral list for the general elections compiled by authorities show a total of 105.95 million voters nationwide. Of them, 59.2 million are men and 46.7 million women.
