ISLAMABAD: As results of the polls unfold, it turns out that the majority might have rejected the PML-N, the PPP and other tried and tested players, but the poll dynamics have not quite changed at provincial levels. After the PPP’s clear victory in Sindh, the PML-N too has won many seats in the Punjab provincial assembly that could enable it to form the new government in that province.
The PTI is harshly critical of the PML-N, but the possibility of the two parties joining hands to form new governments cannot be ruled out. This only time will tell. Politics, after all, is the art of the possible.
