The 31-year-old beauty recently graced the ramp at the launch of Platinum Vogue in Mumbai. The showstopper was later questioned on her take on politics later by the media. Ranaut has often stated that she is too young to join politics or have enough knowledge to run a country. However, she also mentioned that if such a time comes, she would do anything for India.

Ranaut said, “Whenever there is any danger to our country, our soldiers are ready to sacrifice their lives without batting an eyelid. If my country ever needs me, I’ll be willing to lay my life, let alone join politics.”
While attending the screening of short film Chalo Jeete Hain in Delhi, the Queen star also praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She added that he was the “rightful leader of democracy.

After the screening, Ranaut commented, “The film has been made beautifully. It shows how Modi, being a sensitive child, went through such extreme circumstances. But I feel this film is not about him, it is about us – how society needs to be together to rise. This film is just a small part of his life.”
Ranaut was also asked to analyse Modi’s four years in the government, to which she replied, “He is the most deserving candidate. It’s not like he has reached this place because of his mother and father. We voted for him as our Prime Minister and that cannot be taken away from him. This is his well-deserved place which he has earned after sheer hard work. So, there shouldn’t be any doubt about his credibility.”
She added that Modi needs another win in 2019’s elections to make India better. Ranaut explained that five years is a very short time to pull a country out of a pit.
Chalo Jeete Hain has reportedly been inspired by the real life incidents of Modi. Directed by Aanand L Rai and Mahaveer Jain, the short film received a lot of praise from various ministers.
