PESHAWAR: A cold wave is sweeping through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after heavy showers and snowfall blanketed high and low altitude areas on Sunday night.
By Monday morning, the mountains of Galyat were covered in four to five inches of snow. Galyat Development Authority (GDA) has cautioned against unnecessary travel.
Karachi, Quetta receive scattered rain
The lower areas of Mansehra received light showers while snow swept over the mountains of Naran and Kaghan. Similarly, the plains of Bajaur district received rain while snow covered the higher areas. Electricity to the district was suspended due to the weather.
