PM Imran addresses UN climate summit


Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the UN Climate Action summit, an event being hosted to boost ambition and accelerate action to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement.

Leaders from governments, the private sector and civil society are presenting concrete actions, plans and initiatives to tackle climate change.

Climate change is the defining issue of our time and now is the defining moment to do something about it. There is still time to tackle climate change, but it will require an unprecedented effort from all sectors of society.

PM Imran is in New York on a week-long visit to attend the UN General Assembly session and be part of a host of other activities, including a meeting President Donald Trump.
